Wednesday!

Today while looking at random facts, I found several about hearts. One being that the largest heart on the planet belongs to a blue whale and is typically 1,500 pounds! And because the heart has its own electrical impulse, it can continue to beat even when separated from the body ( As long as it has an adequate supply of oxygen). The stereotypical heart is meant to be two hearts fused together. And although when people hearts are broken they feel they could die, an elephant can die from a broken heart. Stress can also literally break your heart. It's is called "Broken Heart Syndrome" and occurs in stressful situations and occurs when the bottom of the heart balloons into the shape of a pot.
