The Selection by Kierra Cass

The Thursday Book Review! Yay! Todays book review is about a love story
The Selection by Kierra Cass
America Singer. Average girl who thinks she has her life planned out alongside the love of her life, Aspen. In a future separated by castes marrying someone lower than you, is considered wrong. Even so, America has her heart set on marrying Aspen but when she gets pressured to enter a selection competition for  becoming the future queen, she gives in and her life gets turned upside-down. When the prince turns out to not be as horrid as she though he was she questions, what if her life wasn't meant for Aspens? From living the life of a lower caste to suddenly being expected to fit right in with royalty, it comes with troubles one could hardly imagine. Competing with other girls for a crown is hard enough (Even if you don't want the crown!), and what if royalty wasn't as picture perfect as it was made out to be? In this 6 book series follow America through the many things of the Selection.
Try reading the book and tell me what you think! πŸ˜€
Wonderful Thursday to you guys!

Palindromes

Palindromes are not very common but there seems to be quite a bit. The definition of palindrome, as explained by Dictionary.com is, "A word, line, verse, number, sentence, etc., reading the same backward as forward, as Madam, I'm Adam or Poor Dan is in a droop." Some are names such as Hannah, Naman, Bob, Ava, Otto, Layla and Reiner. While others can be sentences like the ones above. Some are words also like, racecar, radar, civic, stats and kayak. Palindromes are fun words (Also fun to make some up) Comment any palindromes you guys know πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
Do you guys have any requests for me to write? Interested in sharing your poem or story? Here comes another google survey!

Red Door.

I don't suppose many of you guys are saying "Yay Monday!", am I right? But I come to this week with a Monday brightener! CANDY!! When I went to the store yesterday, I saw a giant Mike and Ike bag and before then, I hadn't seen one of those (I am usually in the chocolate section (I am a proud supporter of chocolate!(Parenthesis overkill!))) So..... the bag being given away is...
Okay, anyways... Todays picture comes from a place most of you pass plenty, but overlook. No, that is not some ones door, but the backside of ⇖ the thing you probably pass often. I am very excited for you guys to guess it!

And congrats to last weeks winner,
Katrina!

MAZE RUNNER

If you have seen the Maze Runner (2014) movie... disregard it. Completely. This New York Times bestseller by James Dashner is a truly thrilling book. It is very descriptive and helps you visualize the details. You wake up in a colder, dark box. You have no prior knowledge of your past associations. You don't know where you grew up and have no idea how you came to know the things you know. The only thing you know is your name, what would you do? Well, that is exactly what happened to Thomas. He wakes up in a dark, musty box, which he later find out it's name is literally The Box, once it comes up and it opens, he is surrounded by other boys enclosed in the maze. Being the "Greenie"  can be tough in the spiraling confusion of The Maze. Is there an exit to the maze? The plot of this book (THE BOOK! NOT THE MOVIE!)  Will keep you reading and wanting more. If you haven't yet read this book series, add it to your read-list! (The 2 prequels are good ones too!)

Wednesdays Article.

Have you ever had a dream at night? Well, most people dream. In recent discovery, I have found so many interesting facts about dreams! Acording to some studies, in an average lifetime, you spend around 6 years dreaming. Have you ever dreamt about some person you just made up? Well, you didn't make them up. You can only dream about things you already know, so those faces you thought you made up are really people you have seen before, even if they where just the person you passed on your daily walk. Even blind people dream. When born blind, they don't dream images because it is a little harder for them to imagine, but they still have equally vivid dreams involving their other senses. Around 12% of sighted people dream only in black and white and while lucid dreaming, you are able to control how your dream goes, like Inception! Isn't that so cool? Those are some interesting facts for when you go to sleep tonight πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€

The End of Feeling Cindy C Bennet

On Thursdays, as you probably guessed from the title, Book Reviews! Are you in a book hole? Need something to cure your book hangover? Read a new book! Although I might have not read quite as many books as others, I have read my fair share. It was kinda hard choosing one to pick for the first review, so I chose one that's still on my mind.
The End of Feeling by Cindy C Bennett.

Benjamin Nefer. The perfect guy. Star quarterback, grades near the highest of his class and he can get almost every girl he wants. Charlie Austin. New girl in town, forced to live with her bitter aunt. When she doesn't swoon over Benjamin, like most girls, Benjamin considers her as a challenge. She had been warned against him and she had walls to keep him out but, will that always work? When Benjamin took her on as a challenge, he thought he would use her and let her go; same as he does to every other girl, could he really?  Little do they know about the other, the secrets they hold inside. This novel by Cindy C Bennett shows how carefully constructed lies, may not always hold.
Find this book (And other great ones!) At the Tremonton Library!πŸ˜€
